In 2025, we iterated with customers towards PMF. In 2026, we’ll tighten the product and push workflows that help teams start and grow on Ethereum.

We set out to build onchain banking that’s instantly available worldwide, driven by (1) our personal experience and frustrations trying to piece together existing tools, and (2) the belief that global, neutral property rights matter.

We started 2025 with freshly audited contracts and a small cohort of early beta customers. By the end of 2025, more than 100 teams had processed over $50M through our product.

What we shipped in 2025

We shipped a lot this year. Here are 10 of our highlights.

  1. We launched Splits Teams publicly. Global banking without fees, paperwork, permission, or computer science degrees. If you’re reading this, you can use it.
  2. We added bank transfers (ACH and SEPA), letting you link US and EU banks and move easily between crypto and fiat.
  3. We shipped a browser extension, making your Splits accounts usable across the ecosystem with other third party apps.
  4. We shipped accounting tools, with filters and CSV exports, helping you close your books faster.
  5. We launched compliant payments, letting you collect W9/W8 info upfront and then issue 1099s at the end of the year.
  6. We added full support for Arbitrum, World, and Celo, plus supplemental support for 100+ EVM networks.
  7. We shipped multisend and scheduled transactions for things like airdrops, payroll, and DCA.
  8. We improved app and infrastructure performance. We added a command menu and keyboard shortcuts to help you move faster day-to-day.
  9. We added vesting, allowing you to view and claim tokens that are being streamed to you on Sablier and Hedgey.
  10. We published a guidebook, which shares best practices and what we’re seeing experienced teams do to speed up their workflows.

We also shipped internal systems that are less visible but equally important since they set the tone and pace for the future. Specifically, we implemented a bug-zero policy, establishing clear SLAs on all new bugs and ensuring defects are rare.

Our outlook for 2026

In 2026, we’re focused on proving with certainty that decentralized blockchains are a better substrate for business, and teams building atop them become more competitive. “When token” is the default question; the harder one is “why token”. This is the question that keeps us up at night. Our goal in 2026 is to irrefutably answer this question.

To this end, we’re doubling down on teams with tokens. We don't mean the over-hyped, double-dipping venture-backed tokens with inflated market caps. We mean the app builders using tokens natively within their products; the studios and agencies organizing around tokens as a source of alignment; and the investors using tokens to create and manage funds.

We’re not sure where 2026 will take us, but we are confident it involves small teams of aligned people working together around tokens. We did not set out to build a Bridge or Stripe wrapper. The fact that teams choose us over custodial products gives us confidence we’re on the right path.

Thank you to our customers for trusting us, and our teammates for lending us their time and talents.
