# Splits changelog: Earn 2.0 and PACT for pre-token launches

## Earn 2.0

We rebuilt Earn to offer more competitive yield on your idle Base USDC while creating a sustainable revenue stream for us. Earn 2.0 uses Morpho, and we take a performance fee on the yield generated.

You can still use your existing Earn 1.0 balance in Splits. You’ll be prompted to migrate to Earn 2.0 in a single transaction next time you log in.

## PACT for pre-token launches

Raise a handshake round on Splits with [PACT](https://pact.splits.org) (Purchase Agreement for Community Tokens): set allocations, open a private or public sale, and have buyers accept terms and sign for their purchase.
