# Splits changelog: Cost basis in Accounting, and Contacts restrictions

## Track cost basis and holding periods in Accounting

Splits now tracks every token lot, per account. See the cost basis, remaining quantity, and holding period for each, so year-end taxes don't require additional P&L tracking software.

## Network and token restrictions for Contacts

You can now add network and token restrictions for saved [Contacts](https://splits.org/docs/contacts#contacts), so funds only go out on chains and in tokens that each contact can actually receive.

Go to [Contacts](https://app.splits.org/contacts/) and select Edit to set them up.

## Full and partial network support

We've expanded the networks you can receive, send, and swap on.

[Partially supported networks](https://splits.org/docs/introduction/networks-and-assets#partially-supported-networks) are enabled per org like any other chain and are filtered out of Accounting and transaction feeds, so your books stay clean.

Enable more networks for your workspace at [Settings > Networks](https://app.splits.org/settings/team/networks/). If an EVM network you want to use isn't listed, email [support@splits.org](mailto:support@splits.org).
