# Farcaster for builders

A substantial portion of the Ethereum community uses the "sufficiently [decentralized](https://www.varunsrinivasan.com/2022/01/11/sufficient-decentralization-for-social-networks)" social network [Farcaster](https://www.farcaster.xyz/). The platform cleverly combines features from Twitter and Reddit, plus the [crypto magic](https://docs.farcaster.xyz/learn/what-is-farcaster/frames) that you can't find anywhere else (AKA "[programmable](https://zora.co/collect/base:0xa8d7b172108a65676918183e3ab27bd992948022/3) social").

It's been fruitful for Splits to make connections on Farcaster — come join our [channel](https://warpcast.com/~/channel/splits) 🌱

We're not the only ones. Consider YB's experience building and debuting an experimental app called The Terminal: "100k higher, 1300 mints, 343 downloads, 25 winners, 1 week." It's a [compelling case study](https://onchainletters.xyz/terminal).

Today we're highlighting a handful of other channels for builders (dev or not), both broad and niche. Here you can find productive and entertaining conversations about this new onchain world that we're creating together.

### Founders

Like it says on the tin, [/founders](https://warpcast.com/~/channel/founders) is for anyone who's created a company (whether startup or small business) to commiserate, brainstorm, celebrate launches, and discuss all aspects of spearheading a business.

### Product

[/product](https://warpcast.com/~/channel/product) is equally straightforward: "A place to talk about software products and the craft of building them."

### Lounge

Run by [Cameron Armstrong](https://warpcast.com/cameron), "Lounge is the thoughtful conversation you wish you could overhear." Practical prompts answered by people working on cool projects (of various sorts).

### Ethereum Account Abstraction

You may have picked up that Splits is obsessed with smart wallets [right now](https://splits.org/blog/4337-smart-accounts-standard/). Are you also [obsessed with smart wallets](https://warpcast.com/~/channel/ethereum-aa/default)?

### Dev

"Cultivating curiosity for software developers," [while making fun of ourselves](https://warpcast.com/~/channel/dev).

### Consumer Crypto

The startup ouroboros is all well and good, but how about serving [normal customers](https://warpcast.com/~/channel/consumercrypto)? (Take "normal" with a grain of salt.)

### Base

A channel focused on the [L2 with unstoppable enthusiasm](https://warpcast.com/~/channel/base). Turns out, a lot is happening, all the time! Related: [/build](https://warpcast.com/~/channel/build), [/base-builds](https://warpcast.com/~/channel/base-builds), and [/onchainsummer](https://warpcast.com/~/channel/onchainsummer) ☀️

### Proxy Studio

In his channel [/openventures](https://warpcast.com/~/channel/openventures), Proxy Studio pursues "farcaster ecosystem r&d," keeping tabs on everybody's work, posting commentary and reviews of his experiences trying every new app that comes along.

### Farcaster Builders India (FBI)

An [ad-hoc collective](https://warpcast.com/~/channel/fbi) of "Indian founders and builders painting the next wave of consumer crypto on Farcaster." These guys _cannot_ slow down, they've always got something fun in the works.

### Onchain Tools

When in doubt, [do it onchain](https://warpcast.com/~/channel/onchain-tools/default).
