# A wallet built for your agents

Manage agents' budgets in one place. Fund your agents' subaccounts and let them transact autonomously or propose transactions for your approval.

I want you to have your own wallet on Splits, where you hold your own key and I approve what you send.

First, read https://splits.org/docs/solutions/ai-agents/ and run `npx -y @splits/splits-cli@latest --llms-full` so you have the exact commands.

Then, step by step:
1. Install the CLI: npm install -g @splits/splits-cli@latest
2. Run `splits auth login-start --client-name "<the app you are running in, for example Claude Code>"`. Show me the approval URL and the code. Then run `splits auth login-status` right away; it waits while I log in and approve. On that page I can connect my existing Splits workspace or create a new one.
3. If you don't already have a signing key for this workspace, make one with `splits auth create-key --register`. Never ask me for my seed phrase, private key or passkey.
4. Ask me which account you should work from. If your key isn't a signer on it yet, propose adding it, and I'll approve in the app.
5. Tell me what you can and can't do on that account.

Don't move any funds until I've approved your key and told you the account is funded.

## Give agents wallets without giving up your keys
